The concert ensembles -Wind Symphony/Symphonic Band/Concert Band are the foundation of the Centerville Band Program. The many varied co-curricular ensembles and other music classes are offered to students to supplement the basic concert band experience.

The Centerville Band Program is pleased to announce that Byron Valentine has been named the Director of the Centerville High School Colorguard! Byron has been a member of the Centerville staff for the past 12 years. He has served in many capacities as a designer, choreographer, and technician. We are excited to have Byron step into his new role as Colorguard Director. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience as the Director of Zydeco Colorguard, as well as one of the best designers in the pagentry arts. He will continue his role as a member for the Centerville Jazz Band design team, as well as oversee the day-to-day operations of the colorguard. Congratulations, Byron!

Congratulations to the members of the Centerville Winter Drumline for their outstanding finish at WGI World Championships! The drumline had two remarkable performances of their producion "Equalize". The group competed against other Scholastic World Class drumlines from California, Massacheusetts, Indiana, Tennessee, Michigan, and Georgia. We are very proud of our students and are excited to be recognized for all of their hard work!
