More than 90 bands will compete in over three days of performances. The event kicks off Wednesday night with the Indianapolis Public Schools Marching Band Tournament. Preliminary performances continue Thursday and Friday. Bands advance to Semi-Finals Saturday, with the top 12 scoring bands advancing to Saturday night's Championship Finals.

Congratulations to the 2011 Centerville Jazz Band on another successful year!

CJB placed 20th overall in the BOA Grand National competition. 500+ bands began the season at Regional competitions held around the country this year to work up to the Super Regionals and finally to the Grand Nationals. The Killer Queen show, music and performace by the band was outstanding and absolute crowd pleaser. The dedication and hard work exhibited by the students, staff members and parents thoughout the season cannot be underestimated.

Thanks to all of you for carrying on the proud CJB tradition as one of the best bands in the land!

Jonathan Byrd's Cafeteria End of Year Event!

TICKETS FOR MARCHING BAND END OF THE YEAR BANQUET, Sunday November 13, 2011. Attention all Jazz Band parents, siblings, grandparents and fans! It is our tradition to celebrate the end of the marching band season with a brunch on the Sunday morning following the BOA Grand Nationals competition. The brunch will be held on Sunday, November 13, at Jonathan Byrd's Cafeteria in Greenwood, Indiana, just south of Indianapolis. You can find out more information about the location at www.jonathanbyrds.com. Along with a wonderful breakfast buffet, the event includes a rousing welcome for the band members, great photo opportunities, recognition of our senior band members, and the Director's wrap-up of the season. Last year we had over 500 people attend this event! Reservations this year at $14 per person and you must purchase your reservations in advance for everyone who will be attending, except for your student band member.
