The Centerville Jazz Band traveled to Akron to participate in the Bands of America Regional Championship.
In the preliminary competition, The Centerville Jazz competed against 21 other teams and was awarded 1st place in their class.

The Centerville Jazz advanced to the Finals round where they competed against the top 10 Bands from prelims. In finals competition, Centerville place 2nd behind the Fort Mill H.S., SC with a score of 77.60.
