The Centerville
Jazz Band
2005 Musical Program:
BLUESprint!
For
their 2005 competition show, the Centerville Jazz Band will be
performing a show entitled "BLUESprint." The show concept is
inspired by the concept of a blueprint with a musical twist that
opens the door for the band to explore different genres that have
been influenced by "the blues." Different shades of blue will
dominate the color palette providing a very "cool" image to the
show. This year's show will layout a blueprint for modern,
intriguing symphonic jazz music along with down and dirty,
in-your-face blues in a production that says "Centerville Jazz Band"
down to the last detail.
The
Centerville Jazz Band is Directed by Andrew Markworth and Ross Williams with Assistant Directors Jodi Fairbanks, Tim Fairbanks, and Mike Voytek.
