Centerville Band Boosters the 7th annual JAZZ Classic Golf
Outing is scheduled for a 1:30PM start on Tuesday, August 15th
at the Heatherwoode Golf Club in Springboro. All proceeds from the
event will benefit the Centerville H.S. Band and Scholarship and New
Musical Instruments Funds.
Highlights for participating
golfers include the 4 chances to win with a “Hole-In-One.”

Additionally,
golfers will have the opportunity to win “FREE Pizza for a Year”
by participating in the "Putt-to-Win" Challenge sponsored of
Domino's Pizza. Grand Prizes will also be awarded to the top
three foursomes with the lowest team scores.
But all
participants will go home winners thanks to Elliott Tool
Technologies and Mehaffie’s Pies who have donated
Individual Golf Gift Bags and Door Prizes for
each player + a Golf Shirt courtesy of Consolidated
Equipment & a Golf Hat provided by Buckeye Air
Compressor. Also included for all golfers is a pre-event
Pizza Buffet Luncheon hosted by Domino's Pizza &
Coca-Cola as well as a baby-backed ribs & chicken Dinner
Buffet after the golfers finish, courtesy of Comfort
Systems.
Proceeds from the
event help pay for scholarships for deserving Centerville H.S.
students participating in the nationally acclaimed C.H.S. Band
Program, which includes the renowned Centerville Marching Jazz
Band. Additional funding is also made available through this event
to help purchase new musical instruments for the Band Program at
C.H.S. The Centerville Band Boosters are a qualifying 501-c(3)
non-profit organization
The Centerville
Band Boosters are currently filling the remaining openings with
foursomes for the August 15th fundraising event. Additionally,
there are still opportunities for local businesses to become
involved in support of the Centerville Band Program by sponsoring a
hole, an award or a golf cart. Raffle prize donations, such as gift
certificates, gift cards or merchandise are also needed to help
raise additional needed funds.
