The Centerville Band Boosters are pleased to announce that Soaring Sounds 32 will be held at the Centerville H.S. Stadium on Wednesday, July 6, 2011. In its 32nd year, Soaring Sounds continues to host the finest youth in America performing competitively in a Drum Corps International sanctioned contest and highly entertaining show.
This year, Soaring Sounds will host the Cavaliers of Rosemont, IL, the Glassmen from Toledo, OH, and other top rated Drum Corps International corps. Each year Soaring Sounds draws large crowds who are sure to .come away from this special evening satisfied that they have just witnessed the world's best Drum Corps.
Soaring Sounds is more than just a Drum Corps Competition; it is an evening of unparalleled family entertainment that draws a faithful following from the tri-state area. Many of those in attendance are from right here in the Miami Valley. This is a great opportunity for our advertisers to reach their customers.
Centerville is proud of the music programs it provides its young people. The high school marching band -The Centerville Jazz- has brought national acclaim to this area with its unique style and demonstrated excellence. All funding for the Jazz band and Centerville high school band programs is provided through fundraisers and student participation fees. Soaring Sounds is one of these fundraisers. Each year a full color souvenir program is sold at Soaring Sounds featuring information about the participating Corps PLUS advertisements from supporters.
