A request came from Ron Ullery to help with funding the new stadium lights. Mr. Ullery is in charge of the calendar for the football stadium, and he does everything possible to make sure that the marching band gets the maximum amount of time in the stadium. He and Mr. Barrometti have worked together incredibly well for the past 4 years to ensure that the band gets a majority of the stadium time. We use the stadium more than any other group....including football! The band also uses the stadium lights more than any other group because of our rehearsal schedule. Most groups practice right after school, so they don't need the lights. There are many times Mr. Barrometti has worked out something with Mr. Ullery to be able to use the stadium, even when the band wasn't on the schedule. There is an understanding that the band can basically use the stadium whenever we want, as long as football is done with their scheduled practice. Most schools would never allow their band to use the stadium!
The band's budget can't handle a donation toward the lights at this time. However, we want to do our share to contribute to the cost. In order to do that, we are joining with the athletic boosters to sell raffle tickets. The tickets are $10 each for an opportunity for a vehicle from Walker Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, and we have 2500 tickets to sell. The drawing will be March 29, 2012 so there is plenty of time to sell them. Our goal is to sell every one of those tickets.
As a bonus, everything over the initial 2500 we sell is pure profit to the band! Why is that important? It can help keep the fees down that everyone, including you, have to pay each year.

Payment can be made by check to Centerville Booster Club or credit card using the Centerville Boosters Credit Card Form. All money and ticket stubs need to be returned to Denise prior to March 29, 2012.
