CHS Wind Symphony Selected for 2017 Music for All National Festival

The Centerville High School Wind Symphony has been selected to perform at the 2017 Music for All National Concert Band Festival. The event is held March 9-11 in Indianapolis, Indiana. To fully understand the scope and magnitude of this accomplishment, the CHS Wind Symphony was one of only sixteen high school bands from across the country invited to perform as a Featured Band at this prestigious event! In addition, we are only the fourth band in the state of Ohio ever to be selected in the 25-year history of the Festival. This marks the second time in five years that the Wind Symphony has been selected, previously performing in 2013. In 2016, our Clarinet and Saxophone Quartets also performed at the Chamber Music National Festival.

Our first concert of the year will be held on Monday, October 17th at 7:30pm in the CHS Central Theater. This date has been changed from Sunday to Monday in order to accommodate everyone’s busy schedule during the fall season. Congratulations CHS Wind Symphony!
