Band Director - Brandon Barrometti

Brandon Barrometti has been at Centerville High School since 2007.  His responsibilities include teaching the Marching Band, Wind Symphony & Concert Band, as well as assisting with the Symphonic Band.  In addition, he also oversees the Basketball Pep Band and Middle School Honor Band. The Centerville High School Wind Symphony, under his direction, performed at the 2010 Ohio Music Education Association Professional Development Conference. Prior to teaching in Centerville, Mr. Barrometti was the Assistant Band Director at Stephen F. Austin High School in Sugar Land, Texas from 2005-2007.

Mr. Barrometti is a 2002 graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Music Education.  Mr. Barrometti was involved with The Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps from 1999-2007, first as a marching member, and then as a brass instructor.  During that time, he was named the corps' Rookie of the Year (1999), Steve Brubaker Scholarship Recipient (2001), Cavalier of the Year (2002), and was the Drum Major for the 2002 corps.  Mr. Barrometti graduated with his Master's degree in Conducting (Music Education) from the University of Houston in 2005, where he studied with David Bertman, Tom Bennett, and the legendary Eddie Green.  His professional affiliations include OMEA, TMEA, and MENC.  He is also an alumni member of Kappa Kappa Psi, National Honorary Band Fraternity.  Mr. Barrometti is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio and currently resides in Springboro, Ohio with his wife Kristi, son Connor, and their dog Molly.
