In 2016, the Wind Symphony, Symphonic Band, and Concert Band ALL received unanimous “Superior” ratings at the Ohio Music Education Association (OMEA) District Large Group Adjudicated Event for the first time in school history.

The Wind Symphony has received a “Superior” rating at the Ohio Music Education Association (OMEA) District Large Group Adjudicated Event for the past 9 years.  The ensemble also performed at the OMEA Convention in 2010 and the 2013 and 2017 Music for All National Festival in Indianapolis, IN.

The Symphonic Band performed in 2017 at the Music for All Cincinnati Regional Concert Band Festival in Mason, Ohio.

The Centerville Jazz Band (Marching Band) has been one of the outstanding bands in the country for the last 30 years.  The band is a 19-time Bands of America Regional Champion, 19-time Grand National Finalist, and was the 1992 Grand National Champion.  The Band was also named Mid States Band Association Open Class Champion in 2013.

The Clarinet Quartet and Saxophone Quartet performed in the 2016 Music for All Chamber Music National Festival in Indianapolis, IN, representing 2 of the 8 groups from across the nation who performed.

At 2017 OMEA Solo & Ensemble Centerville was well represented, with over 100 students participating in a variety of events. The results of their hard work led to an astonishing 70 Superior (I) ratings and 19 Excellent (II) ratings.

Jazz Ensemble I has performed at the Ohio Music Education Association Convention twice in the past several years.

The Winter Drumline is a 14-time Winter Guard International Scholastic World Class Finalist and was the 2004 Scholastic World Class Champion.  In 2017 the Winter Drumline finished 14th in WGI Scholastic World Class Finals and were the WGI Mideast Power Regional Scholastic World Class Champion.

The Winter Guard is a two-time Winter Guard International Scholastic Open Class Champion and an 8-time Scholastic World Class Finalist.  In 2016 they were the WGI Flint Regional Scholastic Open Class Champion.
